Hong Kong Day 1 - Metropark Kowloon, 一點心 & Tsim Sha Tsui

Our first trip to Hong Kong, I did so much research and checking just for this trip and not forgetting thank you Jessica for sharing her itineary as a guide too!

We arrived in Hong Kong international airport at about 1.55pm and I would say travelling from airport to hotel in Hong Kong is actually very convenience. We bought our tickets for airport express(click to check out more) to Kowloon, transfer to shuttle bus K5 and it alight us right outside of our hotel (Metropark Hotel Kowloon).

I booked our hotel through Agoda and secured it at about $118sgd per night, I think it is pretty affordable as compare to many hotel. Metropark Hotel Kowloon do provide shuttle bus from hotel to nearest MTR, if you want to walk it is probably 10 minutes walk to nearest MTR.

View from balcony.

After checking in and unpack our luggage, we proceed to Michelin One star 一點心 for Dimsum!

We arrived at about 5.45pm and thankfully not much queue!

We ordered a total of 7dishes, Steam Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gow), Carrot Cake, Steamed Rice Roll (Zhu Chang Fen), Meat patty rice, Siew Mai, Glutinous rice & Custard bun.

Total bill turns out to be HKD $200 (Set $40 SGD), most of the Dimsum taste really good! Both fatty & I agree that the must order dishes are: Carrot Cake, Siew Mai, Steamed Rice Roll & Steam Shrimp Dumplings!

After dinner, we decided to take train to Tsim Sha Tsui to Avenue of Stars.

Walking duration from MTR to Avenue of stars is about 10-12 minutes, pretty easy to locate.

Passing by 1881 Heritage before we reached Avenue Of Stars, this place is fantastic and beautiful.

When we arrived at Avenue of stars then we found out it is under renovation. But still worth the visit for the beautiful night view of Hong Kong.

That conclude the first day of Hong Kong,

Xoxo
