#Erikandreaweds Pre-Wedding Shoot
Pre-wedding shoot, often referred as an engagement shoot and this had become a part of standard wedding procedure. It is usually taken 3 - 6 months prior to the wedding days and also separated into two different kinds casual and gown shoot. So instead of selecting only one kind of shoot, Erik & I have both casual and gown Pre-wedding shoot.
We engaged Danielsimphotography for our casual Pre-wedding shoot
and I would say this is one of the best photo shoot I ever had!
Even though the weather was burning hot but we have so much fun and laughter together, probably the most natural shoot and I would love to do it again. Thank you, Daniel, for making us so comfortable with you and in-front of the camera and we love all the photos you took! *We could feel the 👨❤️👨*
The best thing about casual shoot is that you can always add in the props that you want and make it as fun as possible. No restrictions but don't be dangerous huh! 💕 Price Range: $400 - $800 (depends on hours)
All images edited and returned in soft copies within a month, this allow me to print many books with all the images I have. We printed our book from ZNO.

As for Gown Pre-wedding shoot, We engaged ZtageWedding.
Our package allow us to choose up to 3 locations, 2 wedding dress, 1 suit and make up will be provided by in-house makeup artist. After much consideration we decided on Fort Canning, National Gallery & MBS Observation Deck (You got to pay for all staff entrance ticket)
First Location: White Gown at Fort Canning Park, we couldn't find the iconic stairway at Fort Canning therefore we miss that area for shoot.
Second Location: Outside of National Gallery.
FYI, you are required to pay if you want to do shoot inside National Gallery, you can check out their page for more information.
Third Location: Requested by photographer Railway Track at Railway Mall
Fourth Location: MBS Observation Deck
You are required to purchase ticket for all staff, no heavy equipment allowed too. (Such as: Camera stand)
*This is actually a real rainbow, it was drizzling when we are up there.
The only down side for gown pre-wedding shoot is that you have to tolerate with heavy dresses/makeup and perspire everywhere. *I swear heading to toilet is so troublesome! * Nevertheless, it is pretty fun but I would prefer to shoot overseas in the future. Price Range: $2200 - $4000 (Depends on promotion/package and so)
We took our shoot in October 2017 and got our soft copy original photos early November 2017, retouched photos are only ready/shared to us in February 2018.
It took about 4 months for 50 retouched images, if you like the series and have time to wait you may consider Ztagewedding. But in my opinion, they have pretty limited gown for selection.

In conclusion, I think it is good to have both casual and gown pre-wedding shoot (If you budget allows you to do so.) The tips for pre-wedding shoot is to look for more quotes, do more research, check on their portfolio beforehand. Tips to take note for Casual Shoot:
1. Duration of shoot
2. Location of shoot
*Don't set your location too far as it shortens the time you have for shoots*
Tips to take note for Gown Pre-Wedding Shoot:
1. Gown selection (Do they have the gown you like? A lot of choices?)
2. All soft copies return? (I came by some bridal company only return partial for it and you are required to pay if you want more, so it is always better to check before you sign)
3. How long they take to send you retouched photos? (This is important as you will need the images to be ready way before your big day!)
4. Location of shoot (Don't set your location too far as it shortens the time you have for shoots)
Hope all this information help you a little, if you are keen to know more about both my package feel free to contact me at different platforms.
