6 Cafes In Siam That You Can Never Miss.
Well, Landing in Bangkok, How can we miss Bangkok beautiful/instagram worthy cafes right! There are too many for us to explore, let's go check out what we have!
It had been a year that filled with so much Unicorn/Mermaid and fairytale story, and in Bangkok there is Unicorn Cafe and now they have Mermaid Castle Cafe too. And I would say it's so beautiful!
A three storey high building that involves shopping on the first two level and cafe on the third storey. It's not as spacious as what I think however I think they spend a lot of effort designing and decorating the cafe. Entire Cafe is in purple and pink and with fish fin feel, it makes the entire cafe so dreamy.
The cafe area is pretty small, estimably can fit 20 - 25 people at one go.
Despite being small, they still have little space that sell some mermaid merchandise, toys and decoration, places for you to borrow mermaid skirt for photo taking.
After much consideration, we decided to go for Signature Set which cost 590baht.
Signature Set comes with 2 cupcakes, 2 Mermaid Shells, 2 cakes (You can choose to change to waffles) and Beauty Tea Set.
Pastel Pink & Blue Waffle with Icecream, topped with sliced Banana & Chocolate Sprinkle.
Usually food that involves lots of colouring taste bad however to my surprise it taste pretty decent and I actually finished the waffles and Icecream. I would say even better than some cafes in Singapore, the waffles they have is more towards the soft and chewy kind where you can find in neighbourhood bakery shop. Ordinary Vanilla Icecream with chocolate sauce blend up pretty well.
Mermaid Shell, Hard Cookie with Cream/Cheese Frosting/Meringue(No Idea what is it in the middle) with Fruit Mento Sweet. This is a little too sweet and too hard for my liking, I stopped after the first mouth.
Mermaid Cupcake, Beautiful Cream Cheese Frosting with Mermaid Tail Sweet Decoration. It look really beautiful but well Instagram Worthy however taste wise it is too sweet for me.
Thankfully the Signature set comes with Hot Tea which kind of make me feel less sinful.

Other than Mermaid is trending everywhere, Flamingo is also another in-trend design.
Right opposite Mermaid Castle Cafe we "Once Cafe" where is extremely Korean feel.
Once Cafe offer quite a good choices/spread of food, Thai Food, Pasta, Burger, Breakfast/Brunch, Desserts & lots of different Instagram worthy drinks! I spend like 10 minutes to choose what to eat, all of it look so tempting!
Thai Food - Pineapple Fried Rice, 99baht.
Super Fragrance and generous amount of Pineapple added into the rice.
I love this, not too salty or bland, not the best Pineapple Fried Rice but a good one!
Thai Food - Garlic Pork Rice With Egg, 99baht.
The marination of Meat is a little salty to me, but Bei think that it is good for him.
I think for this price it is pretty decent and good, thumbs up!
French Fries, 160baht
A little pricey and pretty normal, what can you expect for French fries right.
After Main Course, we cannot miss dessert! And it is also the highlight for this cafe.
Egglet with Icecream, 280baht.
As we only have 2 person, so we go for 2 Layer Egglet + 3 Scoop Ice-Cream.
The Egglet was fantastic, extremely fluffy, crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft inside.
Other than Egglet being fantastic, they have pretty wide choice of Ice-cream for you to choose from. We chose Thai Tea, Chocolate Brownie and Cookie & Cream, Ice-cream flavours is not too sweet. I would give 5 stars for this choice, perfect choice of dessert!
For larger crowd you can customise to 3 layers or more and 4 to 8scoops of Ice-Cream, price range from 350baht - 690baht.

Next up, The Cute Ducky Cafe At Siam Area.
This feel like Korean style cafe, which is found in the middle of the road/outside shopping road.
Caramel Frappe, Not the best coffee but well drinkable.
A very cute cafe that filled with little duckies everywhere for you to take photos, definitely a good prop for food photos. Too cute to say no to them.
Dark Chocolate Fudge,
Good control for dark chocolate, taste like mousse cafe but you don't really get sick for this cake.

After Duck Cafe, We have the Bear Cafe.
This is highly recommended through Internet and Instagram.
A pretty luxury cafe that open in Siam Paragon, Minimalist set up and decoration.
During our visit most people are there to chill and study, so it seems to be a pretty quiet and comfortable place for all.
White Wall with quotes and teddy bear, definitely Instagram worthy for all.
This might be every girl's favourite yeah?
Teddy Cake, 175baht
Think cafe is suppose to be a random cafe that we passby and decided to try it out, and it is surprisingly good too.
In the middle of the cake have little crunchy bits that make it taste really good. However the cocoa powder on the exterior is a little too thick and powdery, then you inhale too much you will get choke like I do. The vanilla ice-cream end up going really well with this cake, loving this Dark chocolate + Vanilla Ice-Cream Combination. I think this is worth it, Instagram worthy + taste worthy.

Everybody know them, The Afteryou Cafe.
They are so popular, you don't even need me to tell you this is fabulous!
Chamomile Tea for 2, this is definitely a good choice to cover up the sweetness from dessert. Always pick Tea after dessert, this will never go wrong.
Chocolate Banana Mini Toast,
They use to only come in one size, now they have the mini version and I think this is good for the size for two. Chocolate & Banana never go wrong, mad love this!

You will have so much fun over there, Little Zoo Cafe
As it is an animal cafe it will require pretty high standards of hygiene, such as all guest need to wash hands, buy new pair of socks to enter the cafe.
You get to see a lot of cute little animals, worth to visit at least once.
One of the requirement to visit is to at least order one dish for per person, there is no admission charge to enter.
Waffle Fries & Fried Chicken Bites, generally normal fried food. Nothing fanciful but just to visit and take pictures of the animals.
