Cozy Little Cafe - Caffe Pastore @ Beauty World
Spotted a new cozy little cafe at Beauty World, it is generally a quiet and old shopping mall but now having new cafe and tenants into the building to bring in more crowd.
Caffe Pastore is about 1 month old, despite being new, they took effort to talk to customer and understand their precious feedback on their food and looking for ways to improve themselves.
Food is available from 9am to 9pm Daily, and every food you order you get a free drink, changing to coffee or other drinks will require additional charge. However the good thing is there is no GST & Service charge in Caffe Pastore!
During my visit was quite an early morning, therefore I decided to try their Egg on Toast, Waffles With Honey & Butter and with a cup of Vanilla Latte.
Egg on Toast With Vanilla Latte, SGD $11.90 The eggs and toast dont really match well, as the moisture from the egg soaked into the bread therefore causing the bread to be softer and wet which makes the texture not up to standard. This came out to be under my expectation, however I had also pass my feedback to them in hope to see them improving and serving better choice of egg on toast. Will be keen to visit again to try them, everybody deserve a second chance and well they are still new.
However the coffee is pretty good and this bring me back from the under expectation egg on toast. They have a wide variation of drinks menu, I believe it is a good place for ladies to chill and have a cup of coffee.
Waffles With Honey & Butter, SGD $5
This is definitely better than what I expected, their waffles remind me of Stranger Reunion Waffles.
Where it is fluffy and a little on the saltier side, pairing with honey makes a real good match.
I would say their waffles is really good, I think it will be even better if they have have main dishes with waffles like salmon waffles or even fried chicken waffles? I think they will do a good job in that area as they have pretty good waffles.
Hope to see more from Caffee Pastore, Meanwhile you can give them your support by dropping by trying coffee & waffles. Definitely a good place to chill, looking forward for more improvements.
