Japanese Curry Restaurant From Hiroshima - Fujiyama Dragon Curry

Orchid Hotel Estate filled with popular Japanese Food, all the famous store like Gyoza King, Kajiken, Sushi Kou are just right beside one and another. This time round, we found something newer around that stretch of food store, Fujiyama Dragon Curry.

Fujiyama Dragon Curry originated in Hiroshima, Japan, a curry shop that you can customize taste by your choice such as spiciness and toppings. Other than typical white rice, Fujiyama offers Multi Grain Rice with Dragon Curry, 16 Japanese grains in one bowl, definitely a healthier option!

Upon visit all table is filled with a kettle of Chicken Soup and free flow of Japanese Iced Tea.

A kettle of Chicken Soup was offered on every table because they have two different ways of enjoying their Curry Rice, you can either eat it normally or by pouring the chicken soup in and make it like Curry Porridge.

There is only 7 different curry dishes for you to try, but look really delicious through the pictures.

You get to customised the spicy level and even get free upsize for rice, best choice for big eater!

And even free miso soup for every curry rice you ordered, Woooo~

All Toppings Wild Curry, SGD $19.70

This is definitely one of the most worth dish in the entire menu, Fried Pork, Garlic Pork Belly, Minced Pork, Fried Chicken, Half Boiled Egg & Cheese all in one plate, you get to try everything that they serve.

Deep Fried Pork is pretty good, the texture of the meat is pretty good not like what I have some where else where the pork are extremely hard and difficult to chew. Garlic Pork Belly is pretty legit, shabu shabu meat never go wrong yeah. The best topping goes to the Deep fried Chicken, super juicy and well marinated. If I ever visit again I will go for Deep Fried Chicken Curry, the chicken is superb!

Garlic Pork Belly Curry, SGD $15.70

Shabu is pretty legit however quantity of the Pork Belly is lesser than what we expected for such pricing. All the curry they use is exactly the same just the spicy level you can adjust to your own liking.

Fatty & I do agree that Curry is definitely better than average Curry Katsu/Rice you have at Ichiban or some random Japanese Store/Restaurant, however price a little too steep for this.

Adding Chicken Soup into the Curry make it taste like porridge however there is no hype or amazing factor in it.

Overall is pretty acceptable but price a little make it not worth the value, worth a try but will take much consideration to be back again. Or maybe just be back for their fried chicken because it's really yummy~

Hoping for more improvement as they are still pretty new in Singapore, shall see and try in the future. Go try and share your thoughts with us~
