The Family Travel - Harris Waterfront Batam Resort

Few weeks back I visited Batam again, however this time round another part of Batam and with Fatty's Family. After so much discussion we decided to go for Harris Waterfront Batam Resort as it is one of the highly recommended resort for family because they have lots of activities for young and old.

We took an hour boat ride from Harbourfront Ferry Terminal to Waterfront Ferry Terminal, and Harris will arrange transport from Ferry Terminal to Hotel for you.

Harris Waterfront Resort have lots of actives for different age group.

Children they have Dino Kids Club (Indoor & Outdoor Playground, Trampoline), Children's Pool, Bicycle Tours, Games On The Beach.

Watersports such as Giant Free Form from Swimming Pool, Giant Jacuzzi, Cable Ski, Water Polo, Fun Fishing.

Outdoors Activities such as Table Tennis, Small Golf Course, Volleyball, Paint Ball, Flying Box & ATV (All-Terrain Vehicle) Ride.

Indoor Activities such as Spa, Foot Reflexology, Gym, Shooting Target and Billards.

You are totally spoilt with so many choices, it just fit nicely for all different age group and this is one reason we decided to pick Harris Waterfront.

H Spa, Therapy and spa price starts from 300000 Rupiah, and just right below your resort. Make your appointment at their front counter for a good retreat.

Gym, basic needs for exercise, available from morning till 10pm.

During our visit it is actually the peak period for Harris Resort, they have full occupancy on our arrival date as it is a public holiday, we spend lots of effort to manage to book Harris Room from different website.

All Harris Room comes with a balcony and queen or single bed, suitable to fit 2pax and maybe 1 kid, they also provide family room with double-deck kids bed (located at Level 5) however currently undergoing renovation progress.

As mentioned there are a lot of renovation work going on therefore I think it's pretty normal to have some mess up situations. Like us, we are kind of unlucky to have a few issues with all the rooms, as we do have kids around we hope to exchange our rooms.

I started off getting a little pissed off as we are really unlucky to have all rooms to have issues, and due to high occupancy rate they took hours to change and check other available rooms for me.

Despite starting off with bad things from the trip, we are really thankful to the General Manager Mr Romain for the service recovery attitude, he tried his best and follow up closely with our rooms.

After serval hours they manage to change us their executive room as Harris Room is fully occupied.

As I was down at Reception area for long hours, I make friends with a few of the staff there, they are really friendly and helpful in all different areas. Pretty lucky, we got to walk around and explore the rooms in Harris Resort, Let's check out what we found!

Executive Suite linking room, best for family trip!

The executive suite room able to fit 4 adults, with living room chair, tv, kitchen, oven and many more. This room is super good for family, we even mention if we ever plan to visit batam we will definitely get this linking room so kids can run from room 1 to 4. Haha! Super good!

And a little secret, all rooms come with free 2 pax daily breakfast! Start your day with sumptuous breakfast and it will never go wrong!
