Explore Bishan Neighbourhood, The Ice Creamlicious

Life is so stress, we need desserts to spice and add sweetness into bitter life at times. This time round we explored Bishan estate and we found this little store around Bishan Neighbourhood who serve Ice-Cream desserts.

Ice Creamlicious is located 10 minutes walking distance away from Bishan MRT, tucked under/around blocks of HDB.

Currently they have a total of 2 outlets in the entire Singapore, Bishan & Clementi, which both serve Ice-cream, Waffles, Brownies & Churros. Unlike other Ice Cream cafe, they allow customers to book their store for events like birthday & baby shower and have a great dessert party.

Serving 12 different flavours of Ice Cream daily, such as Thai Milk Tea, Royal Rasin, Black Sesame, Bubble Gum and many more unique flavours.

On our visit, we decided to be conservative and go for something normal.

We had 2 waffles topped with Yuzu Sorbet & Mint Ice-cream, Crowaffle With Hazelnut Ice-cream & Churros.

Double Scoop Ice Cream + Double Waffles, SGD $10

Choice of Ice-cream: Yuzu Sorbet & Mint Icecream

Surprisingly the mint ice-cream make a perfect match with the waffles, as for Yuzu Sorbet it melts pretty fast and it is a little too light to match with most dessert, I think Sorbet should always stand alone.

Waffles is really crispy on the outer layer of it but yet not too soft in the middle, in my opinion I love them as Ice-cream will not soak over the waffles and make them too soggy, however Fatty feels it is a little too hard for him. (Different requirement/preference)

Croffles With Ice-cream, SGD $4.80

Buttery Croissant base into waffles matching with Hazelnut Ice-cream.

I would highly recommend this because I am madly in love with this, this is an interesting concept.

Croffles is extremely crispy, chewy and soft, even the Ice-cream melts the croffles doesn't get very soggy like waffles do, I AM PRETTY AMAZED. Apart from it, I think Hazelnut is really a good choice of Ice-cream, every mouth of it reminds me of Ferrero Rocher Chocolate and yet not overly sweet.

Yummlicious!

Chocolate Churros, SGD $5

This kind of disappoint me on first bite, Churros is really crispy and well fried however there is this strange after taste after every bite. I even tried twice to double clarify myself, it feels like wrong choice of chocolate sauce or maybe some ingredients in the churros make this a little weird to us.

In hope this will be better next time.
