French Patisserie Shop - Salt & Delight At Space @ Kovan

Minimalist and coffee bar idea Salt & Delight was found at Space @ Kovan, a small cozy cafe which have only 1 long table and 2 seating area, their concept is to do grab and go or even standing bar coffee area.

Displaying a wide range of French pastries/cakes, it is extremely beautiful and attractive to my tummy.

Hot Latte, SGD $5.50

A very unique taste of Hot latte, coffee bean taste stay on longer than usual latte I had.

Higher acidity which have a little winey feel. Pretty unique and I guess coffee lover will love this, but to me it is a little too acidity and causing a little gastric after I had 3/4 cup of it. *Maybe not recommended for weak gastric people*

Iced Mocha, SGD $7

2 different kind of coffee bean taste making the entire Iced Mocha taste different from the normal cafes we explore. Highly suspect they are using Arabica beans which create sweeter and a little fruity/sour taste.

This will definitely be a popular choice for Caucasian/Australian or major coffee lover.

Chocolate Indulgence, SGD $6.80, this is totally more than a chocolate cake.

They use 100% French dark cocoa, rich and super chocolatey yet not too sweet.

This is so perfect however it is a little crumbly and easy to shatters whenever we poke it through the cake.

Lemon Tart, SGD $8, French tart base and filled with zesty Lemon Sabayon.

The first mouth remind me of Carpenter & Cook, Carpenter & Cook is super popular for their lemon tart which mean this is equally good like them. However there is a layer of gloss coating which I kind of dislike it but when you scoop it away it is perfect lemon tart.

I think they have really good pastries and worth the calories and for me, however due to limit space and inconvenience location this might be a negative point for them. I believe it will be perfect it they are able to be distributor and sell their pastries and cakes out to other stores and I would totally buy them.
