The Talad Drink & Thai Kitchen - Toa Payoh
Other than Japanese Cuisine, Thai food is my second love. I love to explore around Singapore to try out Thai Chef/Cook who came Singapore to do their business and well this time round I reviewed The Talad Drink & Thai Kitchen at Toa Payoh.
I believe everyone had seen this super colourful and instagram worthy drinks in Artbox Singapore/CHIJMES/Booths at Cathay, Raffles and many more. They will totally catch your attention because they just look so gorgeous and instagram-worthy.
Other than just trying on Talad Drink, I have decided to also try on their Thai Food and see how good they are. We made a trip down to Talad Drink & Thai Kitchen Outlet which is located at Toa Payoh.
Pad Thai With Chicken, SGD $5.00
Generous portion of Thai style pad thai mixed with chicken, at the price of $5 this is definitely better than standard restaurant of coffee shop style Thai food. It is a little sweet and oily in my opinion, but well for this price they are definitely good enough.
Green Curry With Chicken, SGD $6.00 Also another dish with generous portion of chicken and vegetable, thick and creamy green curry. This is damn good for such pricing, a must order dish!
Green Curry Fried Rice, SGD $5.50 This is a mixture of fried rice and a few scope of Green curry paste/sauce this is really good however a little too much of green curry if you if you are ordered Green curry chicken as a separate dish.
Recommend to order Pineapple Fried Rice + Green Curry Chicken.
Tom Yum Clear Seafood Soup, SGD $6.00
For SGD $6 you get fish, prawn, sotong in this small bowl of soup, this is so good.
Not too oily but yet you taste the "Kick" of spiciness and lemongrass fragrance.
Thai Prawn Cake, 3pcs - SGD $6.00
As for Thai Prawn Cake I think that they are not good enough, there are other brands who produced better Prawn cakes which is crispier and much filling size.
Most importantly, The Talad Drink that make them popular.
We ordered Mangoon which is Mango and Blue Lagoon, SGD $3.80
Strapple which made of apple juice and strawberry, SGD $3.80
For fruit base juices I think it is worth it and you get to keep this cute little bottle.
