Father's Day With Tien Court @ Copthorne Kings Hotel Singapore
Father Day is around the corner, have you thought of where to bring your favourite man to celebrate this great day? I think I have a great recommendation all of you, this is currently the best Chinese Food I ever had.
We visited Tien Court at Copthorne Kings Hotel Singapore to try out their Father Day Chinese Menu, before my visit I thought this might turn out to be the normal wedding course meal standard however that meal turns out to be the best chinese dinner we ever had. I swear I will be back and be more than willing to pay for such quality and unique taste of food.
Tien Court specializes in authentic Cantonese cuisine with a selection of Sichuan specialities.
Chef Ho Tien Tsai, Masterchef of Tien Court who is a Taiwanese, he gathered more than 20 years of handwork and experience, he is also known as the celebrity chef who appeared Singapore Local Mediacorp food programme. During our visit Chef Ho is really friendly and humble to share with us his experience and cooking tips he gathered over the years, it is indeed our honour to listen and learn from him. A big thank you to Chef Ho.
Tien Court offer public and private dining area, during our visit we are so fortunate to have our own private dining area.
We had a six course dinner, all of these are Chef Ho's specialised food.
First Dish: Double Boiled Superior Shark Fin in Shark Cartilage Soup
Shark Cartilage Soup was being boil and brew for 8 hours, which the soup turns out to be extremely rich and clear, every mouth of the soup without the fin just taste to rich and thick. Other than quality good, the shark fin portion is extremely generous and soft.
Second Dish: Double Boiled Superior Seafood In Rich Grown Sauce Served In Whole Coconut
This is Fatty's favourite dish for that day, despite having seafood allergies he went all out to eat this because he say it is too good to be miss and he don't mind getting allergies with such great food.
Baby Abalone, Sea Cucumber, Dried Scallops, Fresh Coconut Meat, all the ingredients are soft and juicy, absorbing the specialised Rich Grown sauce.
Third Dish: Steamed Star Garoupa with Superior Soya Sauce
800Gram Fresh Garoupa, Chef Ho invented his own method to cook Garoupa.
By boiling hot water and waterbath the fish before proved for steaming, this make the meat of the fish being extremely fresh and tender. Self created Superior Soya Sauce with NO MSG involve, the sauce soaked into the fish perfectly and every bite is so tender, just like Japanese Sashimi texture.

Fourth Dish: Braised Mustard Plant With Crab Meat In Red Carrot Sauce
The very first time where both of us finish an entire plate of vegetable, mashed carrot makes the entire mustard plant turns out to be sweet and crispy. Super addictive, i think kids will love this too as it taste different from usual vegetable.
Fifth Course: Wok Fried Rice With Seafood And Dried Scallop
Pine Nuts, Scallops, Prawns, Dried Scallops can be all found inside this plate of fried rice, every mouthful of this is so crispy and fragrance. With No MSG just pure seafood ingredients, Chef Ho is able to produce this plate of Fried Rice. We are indeed amazed by his skills and he is so nice to share a lot of his experience with us.
Last but not least: Traditional Pastries
A Nonya Style Traditional Pastries covered with Coconut and Sesame. Thankfully the portion is small because I got so full from all the five course, soft and tender.
As good as the Princess Terrace Cafe From Copthorne King
For all Chinese Food Lover, I think you can't miss this, I am so gonna plan a day to bring my parents here because Tien Court deserve this title of Perfect Chinese Restaurant. Thank you Chef Ho & Copthorne King for giving us such a great experience and indeed an eye opener.
