Thailand Best Restaurant - Scalini At Soi 24
This food so good that I run out of words to describe them, I would say this is the best valentine day meal I ever had in my entire life.
Scalini serves Italian recipes and homemade pasta day in day out ensuring top quality food is produced and making all your experience welcoming yet sophisticated. They are also voted the best and top restaurant in Thailand and receive numerous good feedbacks on food on tripadvisor.
Walking into dark woods, dim lights, private dining areas, open showcase wine cellar zone, it gives off such a classy feeling upon stepping in.
As a Italian restaurant, showcasing quality cheese is something that cannot be miss. I had a super great learning lesson with their staff about their cheese and it's pretty amazing.
Every table will be serve with bread and breadstick while waiting for the food, indeed a great fine dining style concept.
Appetiser with Beef Carpaccio, THB580 Wagyu Beef with 36 months aged Parmesan, Rocket Salad & Truffle Dressing.
Appetizer - Sea Scallop, THB640 Slow poached Hokkaido scallops with avocado guacamole, organic tomatoes, cherry vinaigrette and fresh basil.
Pasta & Risotto - Boston Lobster & Blue Crab Chitarra Pasta, THB740 Handmade unique pasta from Abruzzo(Maccheroni Alla Chitarra/Guitar Pasta) with Boston Lobster, Blue Crab & Tomato Sauce. Bosten Lobster & Blue Crab is so fresh like they just being hooked up from sea, soft and sweet juice from seafood give you perfect idea of quality seafood. Texture of the pasta is 50-50 half and soft which gives you another kind of feel from usual pasta. Tomato pasta is slightly spicy to my tolerance but I swear this is damn good.
Pasta & Risotto - Paccheri Pasta, Duck Ragout Sauce, THB680 Patcheri Pasta, duck ragout, black truffle and Sicilian Pecorino cheese. A different kind of pasta, bring this dish to another level from usual.
One of a kind, you can only probably find this here, damn worth it!
Scalini Steak Menu - Porterhouse 20oz (600Grams), THB2600 One of the finest steak, getting the best of both world as it includes both Sirloin & Fillet on T-Shaped Bone. Ultimate big portion, highly recommended for people who love steak and wine, I think this will be the best choice for you.
Cut Selection - Ribeye 14Oz (340Grams), THB2400 Tasty and tender cut of beef, containing more marbling than other choices and producing intense flavour. Juicy and flavourful, full marks for marination of beef. *Mamamia*
Last but not least, Scalini have this interesting concept of table side cooking dessert, which means you get to prepare your own dessert order. I ordered Scalini Tiramisu and their staff prepared all the ingredients and allow you to prepare your own dessert right beside your table, it feels extremely delicious when you prepare your own food. *Yummy* Mascarpone Cream, Espresso, Marsala Wine, Lady Finger & Italian Biscotti was added into the Tiramisu, all ingredients matches well with each other and well I had so much fun too. Satisfying Dinner, there nothing to complain about Scalini, they are perfect and now I understand why their secure so much award despite Thailand is so competitive for food.
