Tokyo Gyuniku Don @ Takumi By Sushiro
I never fancy rice, when I say I do so it must taste really good. I always find rice being plain and boring but well sometimes Japanese rice bowl taste damn good. On some random weekend we made a trip down to Thomson Plaza to try this highly recommended Rice bowl and yes I would say this is up to my expectation and best of all it is pretty affordable. *Thumbsup*
Takumi by Sushiro can be found in basement of Thomson Plaza, a pretty small store that could probably fit up to 30 people at one go. They provide fresh sushi and also different kinds of rice bowl, check out with their staff for daily special.

I love how flavourful the meat and the rice is, not too salty and just nice for my liking. Mixing in the onsen egg creates another texture to the rice bowl, every mouth is just so satisfying. For $12.90 I think the portion is pretty good (But fatty think it is too little), I think they give quite huge portion of meat and it is definitely just nice for this. I love this so much, will visit if I am anywhere near. Rate: 4.5/5
Salmon Mentaiko Rice Bowl (Cant remember the price for this), Special Menu of the day.
Accepted portion of Salmon with generous amount of Mentaiko sauce, I believe Mentaiko lover will super love this rice bowl. However after the 4th or 5th mouth of this you will start to feel a little sick because of too much Mentaiko sauce with it. Totally prefer Tokyo Gyuniku Don than this, but still good to try , pretty worth it, rate: 3/5
