CulinaryOn Singapore - European Journey

I never thought cooking can be that fun and this is definitely a great bonding session for company/couples or friends. Just few weeks back, I took up European Journey Cooking Class With CulinaryOn and I had so much fun during that 3 hours and also a great event to take my work off my brain. CulinaryOn is the largest European cooking study, which is now opened in the CBD of Singapore! They have professional, fun & unique hands on cooking events where everyone enjoys the cozy atmosphere, companion and dishes of various cuisines. Professional star-chefs from all over the world will lead you during the class to make sure your dish is perfectly tasty. For our first visit, we chose European Journey for our class.

Appetiser: Caesar Salad with Chicken

Main: Pasta with Shrimps & Ruccola

Dessert: Apple Strudel with Italian Gelato

Lessons start at 7pm and you will need to register yourself before hand, light bites and drinks is also provided. If you would like to get some alcohol they also do have a bar to serve you at all times during the lesson.

We started off the class making Apple Strudel With Italian Gelato as it require time to bake and cool down to do plating therefore chef have us to prepare for that.

The start of every new dish, Chef will give us the instruction and demonstrate the proper way before we proceed back to our workstation to do our own hands-on dish. Apart from listening you will get to try out and gain some real cooking skills.

Chef is super humorous and easy going which makes the entire lesson filled with laughter and fun, we cut the apples and soak into raisin, create our own pasty puff, and filling the apples into the puff.

We spend about 30-40 minutes completing the apple strudel and send into oven to bake till golden brown. While waiting for the Apple Strudel to be baked, we proceed to prepare our appetiser for the day, Caesar Salad with Chicken. All of us were tasked to prepare different ingredients and help out to make this dish. Guys are tasked to cut the chicken breast, marinate and send them into the oven and bake till fully cooked. And Ladies will prepare the salads and prepare onto the serving plate.

And finally our main course, Pasta with Shrimps & Ruccola

Making our own noodles from flour, eggs and other necessary ingredients.

Our team is the youngest and we had so much fun playing with flour and making so much laughter within our group! Thank you Natelie & Joshua for making the class so fun.

After preparing all the prawns, onions, carrots and our most important thing pasta noodle, all of us proceed back to the stove area to cook them.

Time to set them into the plates, Yummy!

And finally, back to our dessert of the day. As we already baked our Apple Strudel, we proceed to prepare Italian Gelato to pair with the apple strudel.

Liquid Nitrogen is involved to fasten the process of making Gelato.

Tada, I graduated from this class. Indeed a super fun experience.
