Two Bakers @ Horne Road
Miss those random days where I grab my laptop and explore Singapore, walking into any cafes and grab a cup of coffee and tart/cakes to do some simple blogging/brainstorming.
Many months back where I was around Lavender area and I came by this cafe Two Bakers around Horne Road(Lavender MRT Area), Check out what I found in this cool looking cafe.
I got attracted by the retro resign of the cafe and decided to explore and see what they serve, it was on some random weekday afternoon after my work and praying session.
Two Bakers is located near Jalan Besar Stadium, 88 Horne Road, it is also near to Bao Makers(Where previously I visited)
Two Bakers serve light bites/brunch/main and of course beautiful desserts, as I visited Two Bakers alone and I decided to just grab a simple coffee and a tart to do some simple administrative work. During weekday afternoon it seems like a good place to chill and pretty peaceful, I kind of love the environment.
Key Lime Tart, SGD $7 & Latte SGD $6.50 to accompany me through my 45 minutes work.
I love their Key Lime Tart as it is so refreshing, and tart base is really fragrance and crispy. But i guess the tart is slightly more expensive than usual one that I tried, usually I can get Lemon Meringue tart at $5-$7, so $7 is at the slightly higher price range.
Overall experience
Price: 3/5 (Some dessert/food is pretty high in price, but well it is a cafe, we can't compare much?)
Taste: 4/5 (Desserts and coffee is pretty good) Environment: 4/5 (Pretty peaceful and chill during weekday afternoon, good place to work/study)
Instagram Worthy: 4/5 (Some desserts look really good for instagram!)
I believe worth visiting, maybe I should drop by one day for brunch. *Yummy*
