The Refinery Singapore @ King George Avenue
The Refinery @ King George Avenue, Cafehopping around the estate of Lavender/Jalan Besar.
The Refinery, a cozy casual cafe mixing with the concept of a bar. The Refinery also provide pretty wide range of interesting food. Best of all, the portion of their food are good for sharing and well compliment with drinks/beer. In such case you can get to try a lot of food without over eating.
I visited them last year, and well trying out a few dishes and instagram worthy drinks!
Chocolate Baller - Praline, SGD $8.50
The first few mouth of the drink taste really good, but when I finished more than half the drink it turn out to be too thick for me. (I added water in it and actually it taste better) But I think is worth the dollar for such thick quality chocolate drink!
Next up, Salted Egg Onion Ring(SGD $13) & Refinery Bowl (SGD $9)
Salted Egg sauce is pretty well prepared but it could be better if there is more sauce for the Onion Ring. Refinery Bowl is a bowl with pulled charsiew meat which is super soft and pretty good marinated, as usually it will be better if there is more sauce for the rice.
