Princess Terrace Cafe @ Copthorne King's Hotel

Christmas is around the corner, are you looking for a great place for Family gathering?

It's always difficult to match everyone's liking when it comes to big group gathering right and I guess Buffet lunch/dinner is usually the best choice to cater everyone's liking?

So lucky enough to be visiting Copthorne King's Hotel to have a food review with Princess Terrace Penang Buffet Cuisine. This is my first time engaging with Penang Buffet and got me so excited.

Address: Copthorne King Hotel

403 Havelock Road Singapore 169632

Copthorne King is situated along the historic Singapore River, Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore enjoys a central location in the cosmopolitan city. Which is a few bus stop away from most MRT stations and shopping malls.

So Fatty & I visited Princess Terrace Cafe on last Saturday and let us share with you our experience.

Princess Terrace Cafe is spacious and good choice for friends and families gathering lunch/dinner, they have long/large tables which can match up to like 10 pax per table.

I love this idea and best place to bring entire family out for dinner.

You can also see it is so well liked by different age group people, during our visit there are alot of family group from young to old. Fatty love the food and this place so much that he mentioned he would bring his family here for dinner, that is how satisfied he is for this visit.

Let's check out what you can find in Princess Terrace Cafe Buffet Line.

First station, Salad, Bread, Fruits, DIY Rojak Station. A wide variation of choices for you to choose and you even get to DIY your own Rojak & Ice Kachang, pick and choose whatever food you like and dislike and cook it yourself.

You will be spoilt with so many choices, time to get fat. *SLURP*

Fatty & I tried most of the main course for taste test and we manage to pick up our favourite list.

Together with Fatty we have the same comments for all the marinated meat dishes, all the marinated meat dishes(Braised Pork, Spicy Chicken, Satay) are super yummy, well marinated and juicy and soft, we love them.

Overall Favourite/Highly Recommended Dish:

Fatty - Curry Chicken, Braised Pork, Meat Ball, Satay, Chee Cheong Fun, Pig Stomach Soup(He added more pepper because he feels it is not peppery enough)

My Personal Favourite - All Meat Dishes(Spicy Chicken & Satay Must Try), Hokkien Mee Hoon, Pig Stomach Soup, Carrot Cake, Kueh Pie Tee

Other than delicious food, I would like to compliment their services during the entire buffet dinner, they are so prompt in cleaning and changing new plates for you, constantly filling up your drinks and ensure your drinks will never be empty.

So after so many main course, time to open up the another part of the stomach.

DESSERT TIME~

They have pretty good spread for Desserts, all the traditional Penang Kueh, Peanut Pancake (Man Jiang Kueh), Banana Pancake, Dessert Soup(Green Bean Soup, Bubur Hitam, Sweet Potato with Yam) & Teh Tarik/Teh Halia

Peanut Pancake (Man Jiang Kueh), it is so crispy out the outside and peanut is roasted and taste good.

Pulut Tai Tai, Kueh Bengkah, Rice Bengkah

Sri Muka, Ang Ku Tau Sa, Apom Bokwa(Topped with Banana Sauce)

Hot Desserts, Green Bean Soup, Bubur Hitam, Sweet Potato with Yam

Fatty & I decided to pick one of each to do taste test, personal favourite is Peanut Pancake(Man Jiang Kueh), Pulut Tai Tai, Kueh Lapis, Ang Ku Tau Sa. They are our personal vote and best of the best. So if you don't fancy Penang/Nonya Kueh, you can have hot desserts or some tea to chill.

And yes not forgetting i love their Teh Tarik.

So much food and calories, we totally exceed our usual food intake but they are just so worth it. Thank you Princess Terrace Cafe for sharing so much good food, people who love penang food you should check this out and share with me how you feel/fair this.

Overall Rating:

Ambience: 8/10 (Well air conditioned and spacious to keep crowds/gathering, maybe you might meet kids running around, but well inevitable right)

Service: 9.8/10 (It's too good, but I need to deduct 0.2points so that they can constantly keep the good service)

Food Quality: 8/10 (Meat Dishes are super good, probably wok fish a little too dry & char kway teow a little too bland for our liking, they rest are fine!)

Time to have a good treat for your family members during Christmas, with big group and many elderly, you may consider this place.
