Believe that you must have see a lot of post on Facebook and Instagram about this DESTER SG GOLD CUP Event, Yes I am so lucky to be part of this event, special thanks to Hong Peng, Dester Beer & Turf Club for this exclusive Invite.
Most importantly, Congratulations to Dester 100% Malt for being the Main sponsor for this prestigious Singapore Gold Cup 2016.
Despite being at legal age I have yet to visit Singapore Casino or even Turf Club, because I am never a fan of gambling or betting however it is out of my expectations that my first experience to Turf Club turns out to be one of the best experience because Singapore Gold Cup event was held at Turf Club VIP Lounge.
With this VIP admission, we get to enjoy access to the Owners’ Lounge, where you can watch the racing in an exclusive setting with private betting kiosks and with food and drinks.
Full glass view racecourse track in the VIP lounge where you see the entire race without standing under the scorching sun, I love this.
The full glass view area is definitely one of the best place to grab ootd.

1245pm where the first race started off, everyone starts to get excited and cheer for the horse that they bet. The first few rounds of the race Fatty was busy sharing with us how to estimate and read and guess bets, and well he made quite a good guess for a few rounds.
Race 1at 1245pm,
1st - Horse Number 6
2nd - Horse Number 14
3rd - Horse Number 9
After every race, after going across the fishing line, the rider will lead the the horse back to the main stage for top three prize ceremony.
Riders/Horses that came in second and third will get exclusive slot and interview session, they will be on the extreme left where the two white bars is for second and third runner up.
As for first runner up, they have individual slot for prize ceremony and interview by media for the entire race. There is a total of 11 rounds of race in this Singapore Gold Cup event,

So in between the race we was thinking why not once in a lifetime we try for a bet to get real experience, together with Fatty, Claire & Karen, Four of us decided to make a bet. Each of us pick a number and bet on it and see if we could be lucky babies to get the feel of winning. Initially only Fatty, Claire & Karen bought the bet, so Claire was jokingly mention "Hey join us for the bet la, since Karen bought 7, Fatty bought 4 and Claire bought 5, why not you buy 6".
5 Minutes after they bought their bets, I decided to place a bet and picked 2 instead of others because I kind of like the name and guess from other companies.
SO, IN THE END, HORSE 6 CAME IN FIRST AND WELL WELL, I DIDNT LISTEN TO CLAIRE, So all of us actually lost our bet, but we had so much fun and laughter. *STILL WORTH IT* It is pretty fun despite we didn't win, I guess is the experience that counts.

So at about 3pm, we are so fortunate to be invited to the grandstand area to take a look at the horses and the live race show.
As shared by Fatty, this is the place where all viewers can get to see the condition of the horse before they place their bet. From the way they walk and reacts can gauge the condition of the horse in terms of calm or overly reacted/angsty horse to gauge/estimate their performance of the race.
All the owners and riders will then meet for the first time and owners will start sharing the habits of the horses to riders to lead the race.
All horse will walk around for like 10-15 minutes for everyone to gauge their performance and then they will proceed to the starting gate of the race.
All of us watch Race 5 for live show, it was so excited especially when you see the horse dashing through the finishing line. And yes, Horse 12 was the first runner up for this race. The feeling when you hear everybody cheering and having so much fun.
